Scientific societies and organizations promote immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training for laypeople with the goal of increasing the bystander CPR rate and, consequently, improving the survival and neurological function of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) victims.1 Although people with disabilities are increasingly integrated into social activities, may witness a OHCA however, they are often excluded from common CPR training activities. Furthermore, specific CPR courses tailored to their needs are either anecdotal or lacking.
