Description

The purpose of this commission is to develop platforms, share animal research media and models, promote training in pediatric and obstetric animal research, and stimulate animal experimental research activities in relation to the fundamental research lines of the SAMID II Network

Services and objetives

Our objectives can be summarized in:

• Create and disseminate a database of Experimental Animal Models existing in the SAMID Network that can be shared by the various groups.
• Design a Catalog of Experimental Media and Techniques available in the different groups of the SAMID Network that can be used and shared by the different groups of the SAMID Network and other groups that are involved in pediatric and obstetric research.
• To improve the training in animal experimentation of SAMID Network members and to extend training in obstetric and pediatric animal research to other professionals and groups through the development of training courses for animal experimentation and practical workshops and the publication of a Manual of Experimentation Pediatric and Obstetric Animal
• Contact other Spanish and foreign experimental groups to develop lines and collaborative research studies
