The SAMID network is now the new RICORS-SAMID network and has been funded in the Redes de Investigación Cooperativa Orientadas a Resultados en Salud 2021 call under the title “Primary Care Interventions to prevent maternal and child chronic diseases of perinatal and developmental origin” (RD21/0012). The RICORS Maternal and Child Consortium comprises 20 research groups’ and 27 clinical associated groups’ and aims to provide a comprehensive and synergistic plan that encompasses hospitals and primary care, and is meant to improve women, maternal and infant health, while avoiding long-term consequences of perinatal and developmental complications.
